Rose A. Woods

Rose A. Woods, 93, of 108 Rockey Lane Road, Montoursville, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville.

She was born September 10, 1916, in Conway, a daughter of the late Joseph and Teresia (Weber) Frank. Her husband of 24 years, James Clayton Woods, preceded her in death on March 5, 1960.

Rose graduated from Columbiana High School in Ohio. She was employed by M & W Manufacturing in East Palestine, Ohio and retired in 1978.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; John T. and Charlotte Woods of Youngstown, OH and James C. and Rita Woods of New Castle; two daughters and one son-in-law, Joan C. Brinser of Montoursville and Bonnie L. and Saleem Awan of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends were received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 15 at the Grenoble Funeral Home, 121 South Main Street, Muncy. Burial will be Thursday, February 18 in East Palestine, OH.
