Brittany R. Helton

Brittany R. Helton, 19, of 714 Chippewa Road, Muncy, joined the angels to watch over us on Aug. 4, 2010.

She was born July 3, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nev., the daughter of Ronald and Christine (Stine) Helton.

Brittany graduated Muncy High School in 2009, where she was a member of the Key Club, National Honor Society, and enjoyed bonfires with friends and family. She would have been a sophomore at Lycoming College, where she was on the Dean’s List and was a member of the Commuter Club. She also attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Pennsdale.

Surviving are her parents of Muncy Ronald & Christine Helton; Stacey Ackermann of Las Vegas; paternal grandparents David & Janice Helton of Otis, Ore.; paternal great-grandmother Marie Halverson of Florence, Ore.; maternal grandmother Diana Griffin of Berwick, Charles & Ruby Stine of Williamsport, Mike & Sue White of Las Vegas and Al Foulkrod of Texas; maternal great-grandmother Helen Howell of Beavertown; brothers Wesley and James Kilcoyne both at home, sister Ashley (Jeff) Lamb of Twentynine Palms, Calif., sisters Tristann & Sheridan Ackermann of Las Vegas; maternal/paternal aunts and uncles Mathew (Yvonne) Neiswonger of Williamsport, Theodore (Charlene) Bankes of Trevorton, Donald (Leslie) Hamilton of South Williamsport, Christopher (Jesica) Caldwell of Pen Argyl, Jody Stine of Montgomery, Lindsey Stine of Williamsport, Randy (Toya) of Van Cover, Kenneth (Teresa) Pope of Las Vegas, and a ton of great-aunts and uncles along with many doting cousins, friends, and extended family members.

Honorable mention to Mike and Eleanor Kilcoyne, who were like grandparents to her and their son Scott because they were so loved by Britty.

Proceeding in death are her maternal/paternal great-grandparents; Lisle & Mable Stine of Williamsport, Gene Howell of Beavertown, Lyle Halverson, Audrey Cope, Norman Luckey of Oregon.

Funeral services are held today, Wednesday 10 a.m. Aug. 11 at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville (come in your own attire) with Pastor Rob Ransom officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville.

Friends and Family were received Tuesday, August 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
