Freda L. Tompkins Pichardo

Freda L. Tompkins Pichardo, 38, of 310 Fredna Ave., Montgomery, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at her home.

Born July 31, 1972 in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of Caroline R. (Deeter) Lee of Muncy and the late Robert Tompkins.

Freda worked for many years as a nurses aide at Stepping Stones Assisted Living, McEwensville.

She enjoyed reading, taking care of her flowers and plants, going for walks and spending time with her children.

Surviving in addition to her mother are three daughters, Misty Renee, Jodi June and Angelica Sanchez of Montgomery; one son, Alberto Sanchez of Montgomery; her companion, Alberto Sanchez Zuniga of Montgomery; nine siblings and their spouses, Caroline L. Tompkins, of West Milton, Roberta A. (Dale) Eisenhauer of Turbotville, Robert L. “Duke” (Jeannie) Tompkins of Dewart, Dolly A. (Benjamin) Fox of Montgomery, Irene M. (Donald) Stroup of Hughesville, Peggy J. Wright of Montgomery, Anthony R. “Tony” Tompkins of Williamsport, Karla J. (Michael) Shipman and Edward A. Tompkins all of Muncy; numerous nieces and nephews, including Tracy and Kristen Wright; and her good friend, Mary Collins of Hughesville.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown. Officiating will be Rev. Lou Gatti, pastor of Calvary Church of the Nazarene, Williamsport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown, PA 17777 to help defray the funeral costs.
