Paul L. Kepner
Paul L. Kepner, 74, of Hughesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
He was born Aug. 18, 1936, in Muncy Valley a son of the late Collins L. and Althea Frances (Gardner) Kepner. Nov. 7, 1959, he married Patricia A. Lindsay, who survives.
Paul graduated from Hughesville High School, Class of 1954. He served in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1962 as a ground radio operator. He worked for the former Sprout Waldron for 35 years as a foundry moulder. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club and the National Rifle Association. He loved hunting, spending time in the woods and taking trips to Florida in his RV.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Randy L. (Maxine) Kepner, South Lyon, Mich.; Keith L. Kepner, Tampa, Fla.; Dennis P. (Lynn McLuhan) Muncy and Collins W. (Christine) Kepner, Pine Summit; eight grandchildren, Christina, Kimberly, Angela, Ashley, Andrew, Justin, Jackie and Kyle and three great-grandchildren, Remington, Patrick and Brianah.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Steven and Alyssa Kepner and a sister, Mary Jane Kepner.
The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday in the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville. Interment was in the Twin Hill Memorial Park, Muncy. Funeral services were at the convenience of the family.
