Delores G. Potts

Delores G. Potts, 80, of Muncy, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born Aug. 9, 1930, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late George L. and Edna Mae Reed Reidler. She and her husband, Aaron L. Potts, celebrated 63 years of marriage on Oct. 4, 2010.

Delores was a homemaker and an avid Penn State fan. She enjoyed crafts, needlework and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Jackie A. (Mike) Prentiss of Sunbury; a sister, Joan E. Mistishen of Orwigsburg; two grandchildren, Laura (Gary) Farnsworth of Picture Rocks and Michelle (Ken) Mace of Cabot, Ark.; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by a brother, Lester G. Reidler.

A memorial service was held 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, 38 West Houston Ave., Montgomery, with Becky Cuddeback, CLM officiating. Friends called from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
