Brian J. “Hans” Peck, 55, a resident of 419 Route 54 Highway, Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in the Williamsport Regional Medical Center as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.

Born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pa., on Sunday, Jan. 8, 1956, he was the son of the late Jay F. and Lois A. (LaForme) Peck.

He was the husband of Carrie M. (Weaver) Peck with whom he celebrated a third wedding anniversary on Aug. 7, 2010.

Brian was a 1974 graduate of Montgomery High School and was employed as a machine operator by Alcan Cable at Williamsport for over 25 years.

Brian was an avid Raiders and Mets fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Fred Peck, Stroudsburg, Wesley Peck and his fiance, Jennifer Kneedler, State College, Brandon (Caitlin Williams) Peck, Montgomery; two grandchildren, Emily Peck and Ethan Peck; one sister and brother-in-law, Lori L. and Thomas Stout, Montgomery; and his former wife, Mary Peck, South Williamsport.

A memorial service was conducted from the First United Methodist Church, 41 W. Houston Ave., Montgomery at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, with Reverend Richard M. Barner officiating.
