Edith A. Bigger

Edith A. Bigger, 61, a resident of Montgomery passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 in the ManorCare Health Services-South at Williamsport while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Muncy Creek Twp., Lycoming County, PA, on Monday, September 5, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Edna (Jacobs) Montague.

Edith is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachael and Josh Strouse, Montgomery; Cindy and Harry Frey, Montgomery; two sons, Greg Pick, Montgomery; Michael Showers, Montgomery; one brother, Thomas Montague, Stafford, VA; five grandchildren, Clarissa Yonkin; Tyler Yonkin; Josh Yonkin; Brayden Strouse; Gaven Strouse and two step-granddaughters, Alyssa Frey and Tessa Frey. Edith was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Montague and her daughter-in-law, Leanne Pick.

Funeral services were conducted from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 North Main St., Muncy at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 8, 2011 with Reverend Richard M. Barner, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery, officiating. Interment was in the Green Lawn Memorial Park. Friends called on Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
