Betty Frey Ludwig

Betty Frey Ludwig, 92 Cordele GA followed her husband in death, and went to be with the Lord May 29, 2011. Her husband Clyde had just passed away May 24. She was a former resident of Muncy, Cogan Station, Hughesville and Rockville MD. She was Born July 16, 1918 in Muncy PA daughter of Edward Shade Frey and Laura Painter Mensch Frey.

Her family owned the Frey Hotel in Muncy. Betty was a classy lady who loved to entertain family, friends and do volunteer work.

She leaves behind Daughter Chris Kieffer & Son-In Law Harry Cordele GA, Steve Ludwig Florida, Granddaughters Rachelle (Blaine) Eddy, Hughesville who were their past caregivers. Tina ( Dave) Allen Idaho, Grandsons Matt Ludwig, Texas, Mark Ludwig, Florida, Great Grandchildren Ryan Allen, Idaho, Kayla Eddy, Avery Eddy Hughesville, Jake Ludwig, Florida. She had many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Dave Frey, Bob Frey, and Great-Grandson Justin Allen. Clyde and Betty had just celebrated their 65 wedding anniversary February 15, 2011. They were a special couple who left a wonderful Legacy to their family on how to live your life as Christian parents. They never wanted to be separated in life or now in death. There was a Joint Celebration of Life Service in Cordele, GA May 31.

A similar service will be held at the Eddy’s Church, Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, Muncy PA, September 4rd at 1:30. Their ashes will be buried together in the Frey family plot in the Muncy Cemetery. The family may be contacted at 286 Eastwood Lake, Dr Cordele GA 31015.
