Harold R. Clark

Harold R. Clark, 62, of Picture Rocks, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.

Born Aug. 8, 1948, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Calvin I. and Grace B. Snyder Clark.

Harold enjoyed playing the guitar, the mouth organ and singing Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash and Gospel music. He also loved hunting and fishing.

Surviving are four brothers, Charles Clark of Williamsport, Harry Clark of Unicoi, Tenn., Gary Clark of White Haven and Anthony Clark of Hughesville; three sisters, Elizabeth Clark of Hughesville, Bertha Landingham of Unicoi, Tenn. and Cynthia Snyder of Hughesville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Allen and two brothers, Russell and Sylvester Clark.

Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Monday, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Max L. Walters Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Webster Cemetery, Huntersville. Friends called from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
