Pauline R. Peterman

Pauline R. Peterman, 94, of 7 Schuyler Ave., Muncy, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.

Born November 4, 1916 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Oliver P. and Maude (Foust) Michael. Her husband of 62 years, G. Warren Peterman, preceded her in death on February 16, 2005.

Pauline was a graduate of Muncy High School and the State Beauty School, Williamsport. She operated Pauline’s Beauty Shop out of her home for many years.

Pauline was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church, Muncy.

Surviving are one son, Michael W. Peterman of Muncy; one daughter, Gail E. Nuss of Hughesville; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mirian Derrick of Williamsport and Betty and Kenny Rohm of Camp Hill; two granddaughters, Kristin Nuss and Valerie Nuss and one great-granddaughter expected in December.

Friends were received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, where the funeral was held at 11 a.m. Officiating was her pastor, Rev. Michael R. Gardy. Burial followed in the Muncy Cemetery.

The family provided the flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, PA 17756.
