Diane M. Persing

Diane M. Persing, 63, of Montgomery, Pa., passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011.

Born Jan. 30, 1948, she was the daughter of Tom and Betty Grimm. Diane was a CNA and worked at Rose View Manor in Williamsport, Pa., until she moved to Florida in 1994. Diane continued CNA work in Florida and then moved back to Pennsylvania in 2010.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Grimm, who passed away Sept. 26, 1998 and her husband, Byron Persing, who passed away Jan. 9, 2010.

She is survived by her children, sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Heather Persing of Montgomery, Pa., and Tom and Dawn Persing, also of Montgomery, Pa.; six grandchildren, who she thought the world of: Taylor, Kylie, Parker, Kaitlin, Faith and Briar Persing; her mother, Betty Grimm of Watsontown, Pa.; one sister and three brothers, Kathy (Earl) Carson of Elimsport, Pa., Dale (Linda) Grimm of Montgomery, Pa., Butch (Ruth) Grimm of Montgomery, Pa. and Larry (Vickie) of Hughesville, Pa.; as well as 13 nieces and nephews.

Friends and family were invited to a visitation at First United Methodist Church, 41 W. Houston Ave., Montgomery, Pa., on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, from 4 to 6 p.m. A memorial service immediately followed visitation at 6 p.m. with Becky Cuddeback, CLM officiating.
