Barry K. Booth
Barry K. Booth, 58, of Eagles Mere, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Emergency Room.
Born Jan. 24, 1953, in Muncy, he was a son of June R. Kline Booth and the late Edwin M. Booth Jr.
Barry was a self employed truck driver for over 40 years. He was very mechanically inclined and had the ability to fix anything. Barry was a car enthusiast who enjoyed watching top fuel dragsters. He was also a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved riding his motorcycle, especially in various charity rides.
Surviving, in addition to his mother of Hughesville, are two daughters, Kristie A. (Anthony) Weik and Lisa M. (Jason) Breneman, both of Denver, Pa.; two brothers, Dale M. Booth of Williamsport and Timothy L. Booth of Hughesville; two sisters, Cheryl A. Booth of Muncy and Tina A. (Brent) Moyer of New Albany; a foster sibling, Diane (Kellen) Bonnell of Trout Run; and six grandchildren, Ehrik, Shane, Emma, Alexandra, Alison and Paige.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Wayne E. Moyer officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
