Floyd O. Kinney

Floyd O. (Boots) Kinney II, 69, a resident of Montgomery, Pa., passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012, in the emergency room of the Muncy Valley Hospital. Born on Thursday, Feb. 4, 1943, he was the son of the late Mary B. (Geiger) Kinney.

Boots was retired.

He enjoyed drawing, crossword and Sudoku puzzles and yatzee.

Boots is survived by four children, Floyd O. and JoAnn Kinney III, Montoursville, Pa., Harry L. and Danielle Kinney, Pottstown, Pa., Nicholas E. Kinney, Montgomery, Pa., Kimberly A. and David Erb, Watsontown, Pa. and seven grandchildren, Delrae Kinney, Alleigh Kinney, Kaylee Kinney, Gabe Kinney, Kalbri Kinney, Logan Erb, Levi Erb. He was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Geiger Sr.

A gathering of family and friends was held at 1681 Elimsport Road, Montgomery, Pa. from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Elizabeth Kepner, 1681 Elimsport Road, Montgomery, PA 17752.
