Patricia C. Parsons Drake

Patricia C. Parsons Drake, 76, of Muncy, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at her home.

Born Nov. 27, 1935, in Shrewsbury Township, Lycoming County, she was a daughter of the late Howard A. and Wilda D. Sheets Parson.

Patricia, known to many as “Gram Drake,” was a very outgoing, unpredictable, fun loving lady who truly loved life.

Surviving, are five daughters, Deborah A. (Raymond) Rader of Muncy, Waneeta M. Drake of Muncy, Linda J. (Charles Jr.) Egli of Hughesville, Crystal D. Drake of Muncy and Patricia C. (Gregory Sr.) Remley of Muncy; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Mary Williams officiating. Burial followed in Picture Rocks Cemetery. Friends called from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
