Renee C. Snyder

Renee C. Snyder, 47, of Franklin Drive, Montgomery, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at The Williamsport Hospital, where she had been a patient since Monday.

She was born Oct. 12, 1965, in Sunbury and was a daughter of Raymond Horne, of Danville and the late Elsie Persing.

Renee worked for numerous medical transcription companies the latest being OTI, where she was able to work from her home.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Renee was a member of Oak Grove Community Center, where she was secretary.

She enjoyed wild life and was a very supportive wife.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Douglas E. Snyder, originally of Montgomery, and they had observed their 18th wedding anniversary on Aug. 20, 2012. She also is survived by a brother Wayne Horne and his wife Barbara, of Elysburg; a sister, Audrey Eroh and her husband Douglas of Sunbury, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday Dec. 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. from the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa, with the Rev. David Jacob, Pastor of Clinton Baptist Church, Montgomery officiating. Burial was in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, Catawissa. Visitation for friends was held Sunday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
