In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, crocheting, camping, gardening, quilting, bird watching, and bowling.

Esther was a member of Clinton Baptist Church, Montgomery.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, James (Teresa) Fenstermacher of Muncy; two daughters, Diane (Joe) Culver of Williamsport and Margie (Steve) Snyder of Turbotville; one nephew whom she raised, Steve Shaffer of Lewisburg; two brothers, Jeff Foley and Mike Foley; 10 grandchildren, Ray (Fawn) Ranck, Cheri Ranck, Amy (Chris) Moyer, Sherry (Bryson) Osman, April (Marco) Montesdeoca, Jeffrey (Jess) Ranck, Joshua (Tz) Montesdeoca, Amanda Montesdeoca, Nicole (Brennan) Wodrig, and Megan Snyder; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two sisters, Judy Rossi and Carol Turner.

Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, and again today from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren St., Montgomery, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m., officiated by her minister, Pastor David Jacobs. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions be made to the family or to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
