Francis Blair Brinser

Francis Blair Brinser, 57, of 345 N. Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born July 8, 1955 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Theodore and Betty (Kinney) Brinser. He married the former Nancy Crawford, who survives.

A High School graduate, Francis worked as a machinist and a farm hand.

He was a member of the Roland Ritter Post #268, Sons of the American Legion, Muncy. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering in his wood working shop and camping.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Russ Brinser and his fiance, Natalie Hand of Mt. Joy, and Brian Brinser of Montoursville; two brothers, Robin “Arby” Brinser (Judy) of Hughesville and Craig Brinser (Diania) of Williamsport; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Deb Bierly (Kenny) of Watsontown and Pam (Rob Bailey) of Loyalsockville; two granddaughters, Leona and Stephanie Brinser; and numerous nieces and nephews he considered “extra children”, Edward and Meredith Chilson, Christina Chilson, Michelle (Collins) and Rob Gilliland, David Wise, and Jennifer (Wise) and Wayne Farquharson, who had lived with him for years.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
