Robert L. Bartlow

Robert L. Bartlow, 60, of Hughesville, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.

Born April 12, 1952, in Muncy, he was a son of the late Alvin E. and Maybelle Snyder Bartlow.

Robert was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to country music.

Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca Bartlow of Muncy; three sons, Robert L. Bartlow of South Williamsport, Michael Bartlow of Muncy and Matthew Bartlow of Muncy; five sisters, Jane Myers of Williamsport, Beverly McFee of Loyalsock, Patricia Ann Bartlow of Hughesville, Gloria McCollin of Muncy and M. Linda Lupold of Cogan Station; and three brothers, William Bartlow of Hughesville, James Bartlow of Muncy, and Paul Bartlow of Bloomsburg.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Sue Flick and a brother, Donald Snyder.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Rev. Max L. Walters Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. Friends called from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
