Mary H. Bronson

Mary H. Bronson, 90, of Hughesville, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at the Muncy Valley Hospital.

She was born Feb. 10, 1922, in New York City. Mary was married to the late Donald Bronson, who died Jan. 3, 2005.

Mary served as a New York City policewoman and as a nurse at Devine Providence Hospital.

Surviving are a brother-in-law, Robert (Joan) Bronson, of Carbondale; two nieces, Christine Conigliaro and Kathy Potter; four nephews, Douglas Potter, Steven Potter, William Potter and Thomas Potter; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Rev. Jane O’Borski, officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
