Mary Jane “Bonnie” Clark

Mary Jane “Bonnie” Clark, 88, of Muncy, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.

Born Jan. 4, 1925, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Earl O. and Mary Orr Guinter. Her husband of 37 years, Gerald L. Clark, preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1987.

Bonnie enjoyed volunteering at the Hughesville Public Library and the Son-Light House, Muncy. She also loved her dogs, especially Molly.

Surviving are two daughters, Joy L. (Vince) Roberts of Rochester, N.Y., and Sharon R. Thomas of Montgomery; six grandchildren, Michael P. Lynch Jr. of Montgomery, Keith B.(Brenda Reed) Lynch of Montgomery, Ariel A. Thomas of Williamsport, Alyssa D. Lindsey of Baltimore, Md., Logan R. Miller of Rochester, N.Y., and Darcy L. Miller of Brockport, N.Y.; and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlin A. Lynch of Montgomery, Shelby E. Lynch of Montgomery, Aiden L. Lynch of Watsontown and Harrison G. Porter of Brockport, N.Y.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth E. Clark, on Oct. 15, 1983.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Max L. Walters Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport. Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the caring staff members and residents of the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit for making her last years so enjoyable.
