Mary E. Love

Mary E. Love, 76, Montgomery, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born April 15, 1936, in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late R. Glenn and Hazel A. Bieber Arthur. She and her husband, Arnold A. Love, celebrated 58 years of marriage on Nov. 22, 2012.

Mary was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Hughesville, Women of the Moose, Lodge 866, Muncy Senior Citizens and the Hughesville and Picture Rocks bocce ball league. She also enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles and Sudoku.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Donald K. Love of Montgomery; two sisters, Viola L. Watson of Muncy and Lena M. Stepp of Knoxville, Tenn.; a brother, Richard L. (Alice) Arthur of Muncy; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held today 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Rev. Jane L. O’Borski officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Bethany United Methodist Church, 113 S. Second St., Hughesville, PA 17737.
