Mary A. Lambert

Mary A. Lambert, 82, a resident of Muncy, Pa., passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013, in The Gatehouse at Williamsport.

Born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pa., on Wednesday, May 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Dietz) Stetts.

Mary was the wife of Jacob W. Lambert Jr., with whom she would have celebrated a 61st wedding anniversary on May 31.

Mary was a graduate St. Joseph’s Catholic School at Williamsport and a member of the Church of the Resurrection at Muncy, Pa.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Claire Lambert, Muncy, Pa., Kathryn and Stephen Akers, Muncy, Pa.; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Dorothy Lambert, Sparks, Nev.; two sisters, Claire Steele, Muncy, Pa.; Kathryn Kitchen, Williamsport, Pa.; and one brother, Frank Stetts, Williamsport, Pa.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her son, David A. Lambert, on Dec. 17, 2010.

At Mary’s request, there will be no services.
