Danny Gene Kessler

Danny Gene Kessler, 57, of Unityville, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born Dec. 15, 1955, at Geisinger Medical Center, a son of the late Gene W. and Patricia June Hall Kessler.

He graduated from East Lycoming High School in 1973 and then he joined the United States Navy in 1977 and was discharged in 1983. He enjoyed the outdoors and elk hunting. He also enjoyed working on vehicles in his garage.

He is survived by his wife, the former Susan Persun, whom he married July 26, 1993, and four daughters, Leni S. Allen of Lopez, Pa., Kendra J. and her husband Jon Mills of Montague, Mich., Dana Graham of Harrisburg and Harlee Gene Kessler of Unityville; two grandchildren, Yuri and Harper Mills; two sisters, Diane Robbins of Unityville, Michele and her husband Rick Thomas of Millville and a brother, Michael R. Kessler and his wife, Sue of Unityville.

A memorial service will be held on July 6, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Richart’s Grove Church Pavilion Richart’s Grove Lane, Unityville, PA 17774 with Pastor Denny Moore officiating. Friends may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com.
