Marsha “Kim” Noonan
Marsha “Kim” Noonan, 57, of McEwensville, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at her home. She was born July 5, 1955, in Uniontown, a daughter of Marshall Jackson of Wisconsin and the late Mary Kate Minerd. Sept. 13, 1986, she married Mark E. Noonan, who survives.
She graduated from Laurel Highlands High School, class of 1973. In 2012, she retired from SCI-Muncy after more than 20 years of service. Kim was the hub of her family and lit up the room with her smile. She loved vacationing in the Keys, going on cruises, ceramics, her frog collection and especially family gatherings.
In addition to her husband and dad, she is survived by two sons, Joe Harned, Morgantown, W.V. and Gus (Brittany) Noonan, Williamston, N.C.; a daughter, Beth (Jacob) Fry, McEwensville; grandson, Ronan Harned, Morgantown, W.V. and her brother, Scott Jackson, Willoughsby, Ohio.
In addition to her mother, Kim was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Jackson in 2007.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday in the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, by Rev. James Savidge. The interment was in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Montoursville. The family received friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In keeping with Kin’s wishes, dress was casual in memory of her.
