Curtis Daniel Woodward
Curtis Daniel Woodward, 29, of Hughesville, died suddenly at his home Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013.
Born July 14, 1984, in Williamsport, he was a son of Daniel (Cindy) Woodward of Cogan Station and Patricia Konoski of Delaware.
A 2003 graduate of Williamsport Area High School, Curtis worked at the Grit Printing in Montoursville. Curtis was awarded the Eagle Award in 2003, earning the Arrow of Light from Balls Mills Troop 36. His passion was Boy Scouting and making people laugh. He also enjoyed spending time and shopping with his nieces; he loved them with a passion. He knew how to make people happy.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are loving girlfriend, Tara Gottschall; four siblings, Sara Woodward-Eldridge (Patrick) and Corbin Konoski, both of Williamsport, and Kyle and Keon Konoski of Del.; maternal grandparents, Bonnie and Fred Bair and Phylis Josinsky-Chapman; special aunts, Cheryl Bair, Mary Woodward, Mary Blackburn, Bonnie Austin, Charlene Huff, Mary Konoski, and Darlene Phillips; special uncles, Chuck Bair, Mike Bair, Thomas Woodward, John Woodward, John Blackburn,and Jonathon Konoski; two nieces, Camryn Eldridge and Karleigh Eddinger; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Velma and Harry Woodward; maternal grandfather, William Konoski; uncle, Johnny Kuhns; and cousins, Toni and Derek Bonnell.
A celebration of Curtis’ life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Hepburnville Fire Hall.
