Henry A. Woodside

Henry A. Woodside, 47, of Williamsport, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at the Gatehouse.

Born April 25, 1966, in Muncy, he was a son of Geralda L. Robbins Woodside and the late Alton W. Woodside.

Henry was well loved by the Hope community. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh with his devilish ways. Henry also enjoyed listening to music and spending time relaxing on the porch.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, John L. (Susan) Woodside of Unityville; and two sisters, Anita K. (Scott) Wertz of Muncy and Linda C. Heim, of Williamsport.

In addition to his father, Henry was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Woodside; a sister, Frances Jean Flick; and a nephew, Nathan McHenry.

Funeral services will be held today 10 a.m. Thursday, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Lucy Temple officiating. Burial will follow in Gordner’s Cemetery, Unityville. Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
