Robert “Bob” Victor Teisher

Robert “Bob” Victor Teisher, 60, of New Street, Muncy, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 15, 1952, in Sunbury, a son of the late Robert Greenfield and Ethel Jeanne (Furr) Teisher. On October 30, 1976, he married the former Susan Clark, who survives. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Bob graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1970. He later graduated from Mansfield University with a bachelor’s degree in 1974. Bob worked as a draftsman for various residential homebuilding companies.

He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Clarkstown.

Bob was a member of the honorary academic fraternity Phi Gamma Mu and honorary service fraternity Delta Tau Gamma.

He enjoyed playing guitar and loved music. He loved Penn State football and spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Kristy Teisher, of Muncy, and Sean C. Teisher, of Lake Worth, Fla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Richard Kirkpatrick, of Selinsgrove; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one sister, Jacquelyn Taylor.

Friends were received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2041 State Rt. 442 Highway, Clarkstown, where a memorial service was held at 11 a.m., with his pastor, Rev. Beverly Cotner, officiating.

The family provided the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to Son-Light House, 130 Carpenter St., Muncy, PA 17756.
