Catherine E. Poust

Catherine E. Poust, 90, of Muncy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday Sept. 19, 2013, at the Gatehouse.

She was born March 17, 1923, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Thomas and Eva (Moon) Heivly. In 1942, she married Ralph C. Poust, who survives.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Watsontown, where she was very active especially in children’s ministry. She had worked with her husband over 30 years in their feed business, Ralph Poust-Wayne Feed. In addition to her husband, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, George and Elwood Heivly; and two sisters, Martha Soules and Helen Woodside.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, by Rev. Charles Teffeteller. The interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville. The family received friends Monday in the funeral home 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
