Aloha M. Bomboy
Aloha M. Bomboy, 70, a resident of Muncy, passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, in the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. Born in Muncy, Lycoming County, on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Clyde H. and Jean L. (Feigles) Biddle Jr.
She was the widow of William L. Bomboy who preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1990.
Aloha had formerly been employed by the Muncy Silk Mill, Munchins at the Lycoming Mall and the Grange News Stand at Muncy.
She was a member of the Pleasant View Wesleyan Church at Muncy. Aloha was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 3428 at Muncy. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing bingo and especially enjoyed the company of her family.
She is survived by two sons, William L. Bomboy Jr. and his fiancee, Billie Snyder, of Williamsport; James C. and Lisa Bomboy Sr., of Fort Sill, Okla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn M. and Adam Miller, of Montgomery and Sara C. and Terry Heimbach, of New Columbia; one sister, Tampa L. Ball, of New Castle; a special friend, Connie Culver; six grandchildren, Malinda, William III, James Jr., Megan, Kearah, Bianca; and one adopted grandson, Simba. Aloha is also survived by five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde H. “Butch” Biddle III.
Funeral services were conducted from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 N. Main St., Muncy, at noon on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, with Reverend James A. Savage officiating.
