Debra M. Eberlin

Debra M. Eberlin, 60, of Muncy Valley, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at the Gatehouse.

Born Dec. 7, 1952, in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late Donald W. and Betty J. Embeck King. She and her husband, Joseph W. Eberlin, celebrated 29 years of marriage on Aug. 10, 2013.

Debbie attended Montgomery Area School District and was employed as a certified nursing assistant at The Highlands, Laporte, for 26 years. She was a member of the American Legion Post 601 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, shopping and word search puzzles.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Deanna L. Kepner and Shana J. Eberlin, both of Muncy Valley; a son, Clint W. Eberlin, of Muncy Valley; three sisters: Vicki (Jeffery) Peterman, of Muncy Valley, Kandi (Dwayne) Ellis, of Montgomery and Darla (Chris) Harper, of Montgomery; four brothers, Donald “Buck” (Susanne) King, of Milton, Ricky (Brenda) King, of Montgomery, Terry “Deany” King, of Watsontown and Jody (Bonnie) King, of Muncy; a granddaughter, Kendra J. Kepner, of Muncy Valley; three step-sons, David (Candy) Eberlin, of Allenwood, Timothy (Lisa) Eberlin, of Canton and Nicholas (Tara) Eberlin, of Canton; six step-grandchildren, Brandon Eberlin, Ryder Eberlin, Shelby Eberlin, Zack Eberlin, Colby Eberlin and Carter Eberlin.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth G. King.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
