Terrie A. Corbin

Terrie A. Corbin, 71, of Muncy, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at her home.

Born Oct. 6, 1942, in Mapleton Depot, Huntingdon County, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. and Janet A. Montgomery Henderson. Her husband of 46 years, Alden W. Corbin, preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 2010.

Terrie graduated from Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing and retired from Geisinger Lycoming in 2007, after having worked there for 17 years. She was a member of Moreland Baptist Church where she was active in her bible study group and the bell choir. She also served on several committees including the hospitality committee and the homecoming committee.

Terrie was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed card making, camping, reading and entertaining.

Surviving are two sons, Brett (Lisa) Corbin, of Muncy and Josh (Jennifer) Corbin, of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Fred (Pam) Henderson, of Foxboro, Mass.; and seven grandchildren, Skylar Corbin, Ethan Corbin, Landon Corbin, Grace Corbin, Sara Corbin, Jonah Corbin and Micah Corbin.

A memorial service was held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Road, Muncy, with Rev. Robert Ingraham officiating. A private burial was held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
