Kim H. Springman

Kim H. Springman, 58, of 85 Griggs Road, Pennsdale, died at his residence on Nov. 17, 2013.

He was born July 22, 1955, in Williamsport, the son of Harold and Betty Watts Springman.

Kim retired as a supervisor for the PA Department of Transportation. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Three Point Hunting Club, Muncy Legion, and Highland Lake 40 et 8. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, wood cutting, spending time in the woods, going to Flyers hockey games, NASCAR races and especially his dog, Sammy. His door was always open to friends and family.

Surviving in addition to his parents, of Montoursville, are a companion, Shari Trimble Yocum; two sons, Erik S. (Ashley), of Pennsdale and Joshua C. (Blair), of New Castle, Del.; a sister, Kay G. (Charles) Nelson, of Marysville; and nephews, Brant (Amanda) Nelson, Aaron, and Matthew Nelson.

A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at St. James Lutheran Church, 1679 Lycoming Mall Road, Pennsdale with Rev. Beverly D. Cotner officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Friends were received from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
