Carol Lee Parker
Carol Lee Parker, 72, of Williamsport, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Manor Care Health Care Services.
Born May 25, 1941, in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Edward C. and Mary A. (Bartlett) Pentz. Prior to her retirement Carol was employed as a secretary in the transportation department of STEP Inc., Williamsport. She also volunteered at the Williamsport Hospital, she sold Avon cosmetics for many years and was a 4-H leader. She was a member of the St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church, Williamsport.
Surviving are three sons, Robert D. (Heidi) Parker of York, Michael E. (Lori) Parker of Williamsport, and Lee A. Parker of Williamsport; four daughters, Fonda N. Parker of Jersey Shore, Karla D. Parker of Williamsport, Alicia D. Burget of Jersey Shore, and Felicia M. (William) Lowmiller of Williamsport; a brother, Rodney C. (Ethel) Pentz of Watsontown; two sisters, Donna L. (Rodney) VanPelt of Orangeville, PA, and Patricia A. (Daniel) Doebler of Muncy; and fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Franklin L. Parker, Jr.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at the Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., by the Rev. Robin L. Baer who officiated. Internment was in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Visitation was on Monday from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
