Rebecca A. “Odie” Oden

Rebecca A. “Odie” Oden, 66, of 2381 State Route 405, Muncy, went into the loving arms of her father and brothers Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born February 5, 1947 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Robert G. Lawton and step daughter of Babe Lawton, who survives. She married Clifford L. Oden, Jr. Together they would have celebrated 28 years of marriage on January 17th.

Odie attended Montgomery Area High School. She worked at the former Montgomery Mills.

Odie enjoyed playing bingo and scratching lottery tickets, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her husband and step mother are a son and his companion, Daniel Baker, Jr. and Jen Buck, of Montgomery; three daughters, Dawn Milheim and Danielle Baker, both of Williamsport and Becky Jo Bertino, of South Williamsport; one step brother, Terry Kerwell, of Montgomery; two step sisters, Ruth (Bob) Younger, of Watsontown and Diane Shrey, of Ohio; ten grandchildren; and her fur kids Harley and Roofus.

In addition to her father she was predeceased by two brothers, Snapper and Barney Lawton.

Services were held at the convenience of the family.
