Clair E. Fry

Clair E. Fry, 86, of Muncy, died Wednesday Dec. 11, 2013, at ManorCare North. He was born May 14, 1927, in Williamsport, a son of the late Walter R. and Alta (Fry) Fry.

Earlier in life, he was a member of the Fairfield United Methodist Church, Montoursville. Through the years, Clair had worked for Keebler Feed and Grain, First National Bank, Montoursville, and A. Dale Harris Flooring, Montoursville. Clair was also a veteran having served in Japan during the Korean Conflict in the Army from 1952 – 1954. He enjoyed fishing, riding bike and spending time in the outdoors.

He is survived by his brother, with whom he lived, Gordon (Edith) Fry, Muncy, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca S. Fry; three brothers, Harold, Jacob and Leonard Fry; and seven sisters, Elsie Gresh, Dorothy Harris, Mable Morrison, Arlene Updergraph, Lois Waldman, Helen Bachle and Clarice Persun.
