June A. Kaufman

June A. Kaufman, 87, formerly of Montoursville and Watsontown, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at ManorCare Health Services, Williamsport.

Born May 13, 1926 in Reynoldsville, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Iva (Carl) Frank. On July 4, 1947 she married Carl L. Kaufman, who preceded her in death in 1989.

June graduated from Reynoldsville High School.

She worked at DTA where she was a foster grandparent and later retired from the former Sylvania, Montoursville.

June was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed painting in her free time.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Cheryl Kaufman, of Muncy, Ken and Cathy Kaufman, of Montoursville, and Kurt and Suzie Kaufman, of Colorado Springs, CO; three grandsons and five great-grandsons.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by four brothers and five sisters.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests memorial contributions in June’s name be made to the Salvation Army, 457 N. Market St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
