Blair M. Baker

Blair M. Baker, 65, of Montgomery, died Monday, March 31, 2014, at his home.

Born November 19, 1948 in Allenwood he was a son of the late Guy and Cleatoa Zettlemoyer Baker. He and his wife, the former Lois J. Hewitt, would have celebrated 42 years of marriage on May 19, 2014.

Blair was a graduate of Montgomery High School, Class of 1966 and retired from Williamsport Wire Rope in 2013. He loved collecting antiques and other collectables.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Jonathan (Angie) Baker of Muncy; three sisters, Patsy of Montoursville, Connie of Williamsport, and Donna of Lewisburg; a grandson, Erik Springer of Muncy; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Blair was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Baker and Daniel Baker Sr.

A graveside service was held 1p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Hillsgrove Cemetery, with Pastor Ron Dyer officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Hughesville.
