Robert E. DeCoursey

Robert E. DeCoursey, 65, of Muncy, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014, at The Gatehouse. He was the husband of Carmen D. Dominguez DeCoursey, with whom he shared 16 years of marriage.

Robert was born in Erie on March 27, 1949, and was the son of the late Floyd E. and Dorothy I. McCauley DeCoursey.

Robert was an Air Force veteran from the Vietnam War. He worked for 42 years as a mechanic supervisor at Simon Resources, of Williamsport.

Robert was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed going fishing, camping, shooting and the time he spent with his family at the family river lot. He was a hard worker and a loyal friend.

Robert is survived by his wife, Carmen; a son Andrew P. DeCoursey, of Broomsfield, Colo.; a daughter, Estefania A. DeCoursey, of Muncy; a brother, Ronald F. DeCoursey, of Erie, PA; a stepsister, Patricia L. Brosius, of Girard; and by three grandchildren, Maya DeCoursey, Gabriel DePasqua and Abbigail DePasqua.

The DeCoursey family requested that relatives and friends gather from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the American Legion of Montoursville, 1312 Broad St., Montoursville, for the Life Celebration of Robert E. DeCoursey.

The funeral arrangements were in the care of the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, “A Life Celebration Home,” of Williamsport.
