Susan M. Frantz

Susan M. Frantz, 61, of Hughesville, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born Feb. 12, 1953, in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Harold N. and Carrie E. Spearman Frantz.

Susan was employed at Springs Window Fashions, Montgomery, for 26 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hughesville and the Lycoming County SPCA. Susan loved cats and dogs and enjoyed traveling and taking in local activities with her friends, Judy Hannan, Deb Miller and Rita Wishard.

Surviving are a brother, Bruce S. (Patricia) Frantz, of Decatur, Ill.; a nephew, Eric Frantz, of Decatur, Ill.; and an aunt, Anna B. Frantz, of Hughesville.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday, June 20, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Cinda J. Brucker officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville. Friends called from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family provided the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
