Jennifer Lynn Miller

Jennifer Lynn Miller, 35, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, as a result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, on Sunday, Feb. 25, 1979, she was the daughter of James W. Miller of Montgomery, and Bonnie Lee (Lohman) Miller of Diamondhead, Miss.

Jenn was a 1997 graduate of Montgomery High School. She was employed as a trainer by LeClerc at Montgomery.

She was a social member of the Bower-Decker American Legion Post 251 at Montgomery and enjoyed being outdoors, especially by the river and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Kaitlyn N. McCarty, of Montgomery; one brother, Jay Allen Miller, of Bay Saint Louis, Miss.; one sister, Teena Dunkle, of Williamsport; paternal grandmother, Alice Miller, of Montgomery; maternal grandparents, Jim and Carol Lohman, of Diamondhead, Miss. Jenn was preceded in death by her son, Bailey McCarty in 2000 and her paternal grandfather, Raymond Miller.

A memorial service was conducted from the First United Methodist Church, 41 W. Houston Ave., Montgomery at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, with Pastor Virginia Bailey officiating. Interment was in the Elimsport Cemetery, Washington Township, Lycoming County. Friends called on Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the church. The family provided the flowers.
