Philip Allen Morris

Philip Allen Morris 58, of Muncy, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 6, 2014, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lewisburg on May 16, 1956, to the late William Roland Morris and Betty Lou “Walter” Morris.

Mr. Morris served as security specialist in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Williamsport Wire Rope, was an avid NASCAR, ESPN sports, and Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed fishing.

Philip is survived by his two sons, Shawn M. Morris, serving in the Army Special Forces and wife, Tonya, of Sanford, N.C., and Justin J. Morris and wife, Nicole, of Williamsport; two brothers, Timothy W. Morris and wife, Carol, of Mechanicsburg, and Robert W. Morris and wife, Deborah, of Nescopeck; two sisters, Denise A. Steel and husband, Thomas, of Williamsport, and Mary C. Kerstetter, of Richfield; and five grandchildren Makayla, Marrisa, Mason, Jordan, and Dori.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, at Globe Mills Cemetery, Middleburg.

Arrangements were entrusted to Hummel Funeral Home, Middleburg.
