Woodrow W. “Woody” Dunkle

Woodrow W. “Woody” Dunkle, 74, of Huntersville, died July 7, 2014, in the presence of his daughter at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 13, 1939, a son of Mahlon and Ruth (Robb) Dunkle.

Woodrow attended the Bible Baptist Church of Huntersville. He graduated from Lock Haven High School, Class of 1958 and worked for over 30 years on the assembly line of Avco/Textron Lycoming. Later in life he worked for the Fairfield Auto Group as a driver. Woody enjoyed growing his own peppers and taking care of his dogs.

Woody is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Johnson, of Port Charlotte, Fla.; three grandchildren, Tiara and Tyler Johnson, and Trevor Cory; a niece, Cindy Roberts; and nephew, John Vassillio.

A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Bible Baptist Church, 1229 Dutchtown Road, Muncy by the Rev. Robert McKenzie.
