Sally-Jo Tilburg Stackhouse

Sally-Jo Tilburg Stackhouse, 78, of Hughesville, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.

Born Sept. 2, 1935, in Bodines, she was a daughter of Elmer Lee and Jacque Leah (Chambers) Brink.

She enjoyed reading and watching TV game shows.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Tilburg in 1977 and three siblings John, Daniel and Betty Jane.

Surviving are five children, David L. Tilburg, of Williamsport, Roxanne J. Frank (Keith), of Elimsport, Mary-Jo Devinney, of Cogan Station, Roland R. Tilburg, of Hughesville (Freda), and Mark E. Tilburg (Christine), of Cogan Station; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22 at Trout Run United Methodist Church, 78 Creamery St., Trout Run, with Pastor Adam Miller and her granddaughter, Lauren Tilburg co-officiating. Burial was held at the convenience of the family in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
