Eldora F. Miller

Eldora F. Miller, 91, of 18 Boak Ave., Hughesville, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at her home.

Born Jan. 31, 1923, in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Susan (Bartlett) Millheim. On June 31, 1945, she married James H. Miller. Together they celebrated 66 years of marriage before his death on Dec. 18, 2011.

Eldora attended Montgomery High School.

She was an avid doll collector.

Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Jane and Gary Vance, of Hughesville and Suellen Tecuanapa, of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Jennette Kreppneck and Arlene Bartlow, of Muncy; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James R. Miller; granddaughter, Wendy Kepner; three brothers; and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. today Wednesday, August 13 at the Muncy Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Max L. Walters Jr., of Lairdsville Faith Church, Hughesville.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center, 1705 Warren Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701.
