Misty L. Anderson
Misty L. Anderson, 53, of 5058 Route 220 Highway, Hughesville, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 19, 1961, in Muncy, a daughter of the late Jay H. and Gail (Neufer) Schoch. On Oct. 16, 1993, she married Wayne E. Anderson, who survives. Together they celebrated 20 years of marriage.
Misty was a 1979 graduate of Muncy High School and a graduate of the Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I. She worked at Brodart, Williamsport, as a cataloguer for 13 years. Earlier in life, Misty worked as a travel agent for Liberty Travel, the former Williamsport office.
In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts, reading and playing solitaire. Misty was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandsons.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Brock Anderson, of Muncy; a daughter and son-in-law, Renee and John Hill, of Hughesville; and three grandsons, Lucas, Landon and Logan Hill.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Melvin and Martha Neufer.
Friends were received from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday August 15 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral was held at noon, with Pastor Max L. Walters Jr., minister of Lairdsville Faith Church, officiating.
Burial followed in Muncy Cemetery.
