Sybil Ann (Hill) Pauling

Sybil Ann (Hill) Pauling, 53, of 3118 Dark Hollow Road, Hughesville, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at the Susquehanna Health Skilled Nursing & Rehab at Muncy Valley Hospital.

Born Dec. 10, 1960 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the former Betty Lou (Murphy) Hill, who survives, and the late Bruce C. Hill.

Sybil was a 1979 graduate of Muncy High School. She worked in the office at Houseknecht Machine Shop, Hughesville.

Sybil was a member of the Moreland Baptist Church, Muncy.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Betty Haffley, are her stepfather, Robert Haffley, both of Hughesville; a son and fiancee, Ryan Pauling and Ashleigh Clokey, of Phillipsburg; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Tammy Hill, of Fairfield; and a sister and brother-in-law, Debra Sue and Gary Papay, of Hughesville.

The family is planning a memorial service to be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at the Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Road, Muncy, with her pastor, the Rev. Bob Ingraham, officiating.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Gatehouse; checks should be made payable to the Susquehanna Health Foundation and mailed to 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
