Robert L. Glosser

Robert L. Glosser, 82, of Hughesville, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born July 9, 1932, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late LaRue E. and the late Grace L. Custer Glosser. He wed the former Gloria Y. Burk on June 2, 1958.

Robert was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Lycoming College. Following his graduation, he entered the military and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. After being discharged from the military, Robert was employed as a store manager for the W.T. Grant Company for 15 years and would then become self-employed in the hospitality field.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Kerry and Dennis Perry of Montoursville and Lauri and Donald Cosentine of Hughesville; and two grandsons, Matthew Cosentine of Hughesville and LCPL Connor Cosentine, currently serving in Okinawa.

Private funeral services were held on Friday, Sept. 5, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Pastor Jane O’Borski officiating. Burial followed in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
