Patricia E. Peterman

Patricia E. Peterman, 70, of Muncy Valley/Sonestown, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at Susquehanna Health Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Unit at Muncy Valley Hospital.

Born March 2, 1944, in Sonestown, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Barbara Smithhoover Eberlin. Her husband of 13 years, Ronnie L. Peterman, preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 1991.

Patricia was a member of the Valley United Methodist Church, Muncy Valley. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters, Michelle (Nathan) Whipple, of Muncy Valley/Sonestown and Sandy (Brian) Stoner, of Muncy Valley/Sonestown; three sons, John (Lori) Chilson, of Laporte, Kenneth “Peanut” Chilson Jr., of Florida and James Eberlin, of Laporte; three brothers, Donald (Debbie) Eberlin, of Muncy Valley/Sonestown, Ronald (Sherry) Eberlin, of Muncy Valley/Sonestown and Thomas (Bonnie) Eberlin, of Muncy Valley/Sonestown; a daughter-in-law, Yvonne Eberlin, of Dushore; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Eberlin; two brothers, David and Joseph Eberlin; and a nephew, Curtis Eberlin.

Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Hughesville.
