Frances I. “Sis” Fulmer
Frances I. “Sis” Fulmer, 76, of Unityville, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at Grandview Health Homes in Danville.
Born March 14, 1938, in Unityville, she was a daughter of the late Elias W. and Edna A. (Miller) Snyder. She and her husband, Torrence H. Fulmer, celebrated 58 years of marriage on June 29, 2014.
Sis was a member of CAP, the Muncy Valley Senior Citizens and former member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working on the family farm, baking and gardening.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Carol S. Rubin, of Wasilla, Alaska, Angela D. (Lynn) Mead, of Millville and Tina M. (Abel) Veldkamp, of Eagle River, Alaska; two sons, Alan H. (Janet) Fulmer and William D. (Sandra) Fulmer, both of Unityville; three sisters, Lois A. Fulmer, of Hughesville, Diane L. (Ron) Larson, of California and Mary A. (Ed) Bower, of Hughesville; two brothers, Ronnie W. (Kathy) Snyder, of Elizabethtown and Dale E. (Bonnie) Snyder, of Muncy; five grandchildren, Beth Ann (Michael) Kauffman, Brandon L. Kile, Jaime L. (Matthew) Fox, Jill E. Rubin and Alyssa F. Veldkamp; and three great-grandchildren, Chloe M. Kauffman, Troy D. Mead and Emmalee H. Mead.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. today Wednesday, Oct. 15, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Pastors Kathy Burkhart and Craig Livermore officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the funeral home.
