Thelma I. Burgard

Thelma I. Burgard, 88, of Muncy, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.

Born May 6, 1926, in Millville, she was a daughter of the late Orlando B. and Elsie Ryder Lawton. Her husband of 54 years, Paul G. Burgard, preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2000.

Thelma was a graduate of Millville High School, Class of 1942, and she enjoyed cooking and baking.

Surviving are two daughters, Pauline G. (Jim) Gwyn, of Rio Hondo, Texas and Paige I. (Kevin) Burgard, of Wexford, Ireland; two sons, Garry W. (Nancy) Burgard, of Hughesville and Phillip B. Pamela Burgard, of Williamston, Mich.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.

Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.
